Organisations, informal groups and interested individuals are welcome to come and propose themes for discussion.

THEMES PROPOSED SO FAR:

What Economy For Helsinki?
As part of the public Assembly during the festival, Yhteismaa, Pixelache and Commons.fi are calling for a discussion on "What economy for Helsinki?", to identify and promote joint advocacy towards Helsinki City by other economy actors in Helsinki. RIPESS Europe coordination team will also be participating the Assembly and share their experiences from other countries. Wider call for participation soon following!

The Illness Of Urban Overplanning

The Helsinki City has opened their urban planning to public participation, while the tendency to over plan public spaces is growing, leaving scarce possibility for spontaneous activities and little flexibility to the use by different age targets simultaneously. Also it seems that the majority of places for gathering, vital to feed the civil culture of our democracy, are always bond by consumption. Pixelache Helsinki opens and coordinates the collective design for a Decentralised Venue.
